Joining The Westerners
The Sedona Westerners hiking season runs from the beginning of September until mid-May. There are over 200 hikes scheduled each season.
The Sedona Westerners always welcome new members. For a brief introduction to our club, click here. New members will receive a Westerner Name Badge, which is an expression of club membership and also helps other members learn the names of new hikers.
How to Join:
It's simple to join! Just fill out the online waiver (below) then pay by either check or credit card.
NOTE: All hikers must complete the online waiver and make payment before participating in a Westerner hike. We no longer process signups at the meetup, so make sure you've completed these two steps before showing up.
Dues for the season are $30.00 per person. The easiest (and preferred) way to pay is by Credit Card. We use Paypal to securely process credit card transactions (you do not need a PayPal account). Checks are still accepted, however this will be the final season doing so (the mailing address will be provided after you complete the waiver below). Cash is no longer accepted.
An Important Notice:
Hiking and other outdoor activities are inherently dangerous, and each of us assumes all the risks associated with the activity whenever we participate. The officers, directors, and members of the Sedona Westerners shall not be liable for any injury, accident, illness or loss which a member or guest may sustain while participating in any Westerners' activity. Each member and guest is responsible for determining his or her own ability to participate in any particular one of the club's activities and is responsible for executing, each hiking season, a Release of Liability waiver statement which pertains directly to participating in, and traveling to and from, any Westerners' activity.
Online Waiver and Payment
Choose the appropriate option below, then you will be directed to the Release of Liability form. Your acceptance of the provisions in this agreement is your e-signature! If you have any questions about the waiver, please contact either the Trailboss (Club President) or the Prospector (Membership Chair).
